The first time was a couple years ago to sell our first house. He came up to the door and told us that he was positive that he could sell our house. We were quite leery, because the first real estate agent just listed our home and did nothing else. With Peter he not only listed our house, he had "Open Houses" as well as brought numerous potential buyers into to look at our house.

Within 2 weeks our house was sold.

When we decided to sell out second home, Peter was instrumental in selling it in less than 48 hours.

My husband and I are getting close to our retirement age and just like many people at this age, we were thinking about investing for our golden years. I was very cautious about investing in real estate mostly because of the hot market and the affect it might have on the buyers. Buying or selling your home can be a stressful and emotional time. Making sure you have a professional realtor in your corner is essential.

When I was preparing to sell my home I interviewed a total of seven realtors before I chose Peter Kusch.

We are writing this letter to express our appreciation for the work Peter Kusch did in order to complete the sale of our property in Calgary earlier this year.

After a less than stellar experience with another realtor, we engaged Peter to represent us. He was professional in all his dealings and was pleasant, knowledgeable, easily available and responsive to us.

After doing updated research, due to the changing market conditions, we had to reduce our asking price from our original listing. Peter was able to sell our house at the full asking price within two weeks of listing - not easy task in the tough, slow real estate market.

Peter referred us to a lawyer to handle the legal closing aspects. Between Peter and the lawyer, they facilitated the transition of ownership quickly and efficiently, making it much easier for us.

We had been trying for almost 2 years to sell our house in Calgary when we met Peter Kusch

Peter introduced himself and left a business card, which by good chance we kept. When we called Peter to ask for an appraisal we were surprised at how quickly he responded and at the very professional package of information that he gave us.

Within 24 hours of accepting Peter's offer of services there was a showing and the showings kept on coming. This was not like all the previous realtors we had used where the showings numbered about 4 a month.

We were putting our house on the market at what was considered not too good a time to sell, but we had 3 offers and last offer was accepted on the 59 day of our contract. By day 71 the "Sold" sign was on our front lawn.

Peter is professional, courteous and polite and a pleasure to do business with. He is honest and will tell you "how it is" not "what you want to hear". He will work diligently and put your interests first.

As far as we are concerned, you could not do better than to utilize the services offered by Peter Kusch, any other realtors you have tried pale into the background in comparison. Peter also has a great team behind him.

It is without reservation that we recommend Peter Kusch.  Peter was recommended to us by a work colleague when we accepted an offer to transfer from Vancouver to Calgary.  Like all moves ours was complex and disruptive.  Peter’s extraordinary service in finding the right neighbourhood with the right house was invaluable and an important factor in why our move was successful and trouble free.

Compared to our past experience with Realtors Peter’s performance was far and away superior.  With limited time to visit Calgary and no knowledge of the city it should have been difficult to find good price to value, to find a neighbourhood that suited our styles, wants, location and affordability.

On the first home finding trip Peter dedicated two complete days to Isabell, visiting over 40 homes, escorting Isabell throughout her stay in Calgary.  Fast and furious no doubt but the approach allowed Isabell to get a meaningful view of the city and our selected neighbourhoods to the point that she could hone in on a single area within the city.  Equally important, Peter used this time well to gain an almost perfect understanding of what Isabell was looking for.  In the subsequent months Peter viewed listings for us and was able to recommend as fitting or not fitting our needs.  This allowed us to save a great deal of effort and money flying back and forth to Calgary. 

On our next visit, specifically to inspect a home that Peter suggested would suit our needs, we secured a Purchase Agreement.  We are very happy with the purchase; we got what we wanted.

But Peter’s work did not stop upon receipt of his commission.  Two months after closing the purchase we finally moved to Calgary.  Upon my arrival at 10:30 pm Peter met me at the house to give me the keys and then took an hour to show me the basics of the house – location of the water shut off, thermostats, hot water heater setting, irrigation controls, etc.  The next morning I was fully prepared for the arrival of the moving van.

We strongly recommend Peter; he listened closely to what we said, he helped us properly define what we were looking for and he worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to complete the search.

It is my first home buy, I had a lot of ups and down with the bank getting the mortgage but one thing kept me hopeful of getting the best place for my money: Peter Kusch, a respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, on-time and very smart man.
